Crimes: Rape, Murder

On Easter Sunday, 2014, Sandra Jean McKinney of Red Mountain, California, was reported missing. It was a shock to the small community because she was well known and much loved by residents. The 71-year-old grandmother had no reason to go missing.

The missing person report was filed when Sandra Jean McKinney’s two vehicles were found by a hiker. They had been abandoned in an area known as “Dog Patch”. There was blood on the bumper and in the bed of her truck, and the strong smell of bleach inside the truck. The vehicles were just a few miles from the missing woman’s home.

Using that as a starting point, searchers checked out the area on the ground and by helicopter. Abandoned mineshafts pockmark the terrain around Red Mountain, making the searching difficult.

Investigators checked out Sandra Jean McKinney’s home and discovered the back door was open. “Nobody was home, but there was blood visible inside the house and the smell of bleach,” said a statement from the DA’s office. Uh oh, that’s not good.

Several items were missing from Sandra Jean McKinney’s home.

Sandra McKinneyIt wasn’t until the next day, at 4:45 p.m. that Sandra Jean McKinney was found. Her body had been tossed 100 feet down an abandoned mineshaft. The poor, elderly woman had been horribly murdered.

Now who on earth would kill a “super cute” senior citizen who was considered an inspiring individual to the people of Red Mountain?

The answer came on May 5, 2014. Twenty-year-old Jesse Peyton Rose was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was charged, not only with murder, but also with elder abuse and rape.

OMFG, the bastard raped that poor old woman before he killed her. And he’d killed her by stabbing her 26 times — mostly in the face, head and neck. That poor woman!

Jesse Peyton Rose, the victim’s neighbour, was extradited to San Bernardino County on May 15, 2014. He pled not guilty while in arraignment.

At his preliminary hearing on July 17, 2014, in the San Bernardino County Superior Court, 14 exhibits were entered into evidence by the prosecution, and 6 witnesses testified for the state.

Apparently this f*cktardian killer/rapist left some evidence in the mineshaft along with the body. After all that effort to use bleach to cover his tracks in the victim’s house and the truck, he got sloppy at the dumpsite.

On March 12, 2015, Jesse Peyton Rose was convicted of murder, elder abuse resulting in death and forcible rape. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole. He’ll learn his fate on May 8, 2015.

I, for one, am hoping the nasty POS rapist/killer will never see the light of day. What he put that darling woman through is unimaginable. She deserved a contented life surrounded by friends, safe in her own home. Instead she was brutally attacked by this heartless little hellbeast, made to endure rape, and then stabbed viciously and repeatedly with a knife.

Long may Jesse Peyton Rose rot in prison.

RIP, Sandra Jean McKinney. I extend my condolences to her family, and those who knew and loved her. She sounds like such a delightful person. She was probably an awesome grandma too. I hope the family find solace in her killer’s conviction.

I shall endeavour to keep readers posted about the sentence. Reminders are welcome.

UPDATE
Jesse Peyton Rose was sentenced to 22 years to life in state prison.

Couldn’t find any details about what was left. I’m guessing things like footprints, tire impressions, his DNA.

Well this Fucktard looks the type to become the perfect little prison bitch. He should have “Granny Killer and Raper” etched in his forward.

I’m nearly lost for words, and for me to be lost for words shows how sickened i am. Not only did this cunt murder this sweet old lady, he had to rape her before she died. There should be only one penalty for this sick bastard and that should be a date with a needle and the good ole pentobarbitol. Sick fuck’s like this turd should be obliterated from this planet its as simple as that.

Something is bothering me cleo, i’ve read the articles and it said that both the victims vehicles were found abandoned, now how can this lowlife drive two vehicles away unless he was helped by someone else, or someone else was involved in the rape and murder also, or am i watching too much “murder she wrote” and think i’m jessica fletcher?

The vehicles weren’t that much of a distance from the house. I figure he drove the truck with the body, dumped the victim and then began to worry about the blood and DNA evidence. He walked back to her house so nobody would notice him, got the bleach and used it on the blood in the house. Afraid of running out of time, he drove her car back to the truck and used what was left of the bleach in the cab of the truck. He then walked home and waited for somebody to notice the poor lady was missing. While he was waiting, he probably snuck over to her house to steal some valuables.

He would make good fertilizer. He’s not good for anything else really.

Sentence? It’s been put off many times. We were friends of Sandy and wonder what the result of the trial was.

    I think Dan is Mom’s neighbor…Hello

There were other people being sought for some reason, FWIW.

At the link below is access to the court case… Interestingly, the court seems to have found a car wasn’t used in the commission of this crime, not sure if that is important, but seems like at some point a car[s] was used.

Also, it almost looks like they’re trying to give this chump probation, go there and judge for yourselves!

Another person asked about evidence: I’ve followed this when able, at some point in the minutes or somewhere on “openaccess” I seen where the state entered photo’s of Sandy’s hand with a condom wrapper clasped in her palm and I think a condom on the timbers around the mine-shaft or something similar. It’s probably all on the link below.
